Welcome to Gallery 5!
The Majestic Lakes Portfolio comprises a huge number of well selected landscape photographs of different mountain lakes (most of them in the alpine upland) - bundled in a multitude of stand alone galleries. The galleries of each lake are initially populated with the first shots of those lakes since 2017, further photographs will be continually added in the course of time. The portfolio actually comprises 20 galleries - further galleries will follow shortly. All of these lakes have something special in commom: natural beauties, crystal clear water, high mountain range panorama, awesome far distance views ...
Additionally the galleries contain some drone shots to enable outstandig view of the lakes which would not have been possible from a normal perspective. In the photographs presentation mode drone shots are marked in the related caption. Drone shots are perfectly suited for prints up to DIN A2 size.
In future most of the galleries will contain shots at different times over the year. Each season provides a new natural experience documenting the change of nature in the course of time - from summery warm mountain water to frozen water surfaces in a panoramic surrounding of snowcapped montains.
Most of the photographs have only been possible after several hours of mountain hike started already in the very early morning. The required large amount of time and physical effort have been a good invest to get these cool shots.
