Welcome to Gallery 19!

Gallery No. 19 Ester Mountain Range is dealing solely with landscape photography in this stunning place of nature. The Ester Mountain Range, also known as the Krottenkopf Mountains, are located in the Bavarian Alps between the Loisach and Isar valleys and are therefore part of the Northern Limestone Alps. The mountains cover the area between the towns of Eschenlohe, Oberau, Farchant, Partenkirchen, Krün, and Wallgau. The Ester Mountain Range is a paradise for hiking and mountaineering. This extremely diverse mountain range in the west of the Bavarian Prealps is home to many beautiful peaks with stunning views, picturesque alpine pastures, but also wild gorges, impressive waterfalls, and numerous caves.

There are particularly promising mountains with a very impressive mountain landscape at all seasons and times of day. Hence some summits in this gallery have been climbed several times to capture different weather & lighting conditions. All different seasons over the year are covered in this new gallery.

This new gallery will start with about 200 beautiful landscape shots. Most of the photographs have only been possible after several hours of mountain hike started already in the very early morning. The required large amount of time and physical effort - particulary because of multitude heavy photo / drone backpacks have been a good invest to get these really cool shots in these spectacular surroundings.

All climbed summits on these adventures respectively performed hikingtrips are listed here for your reference:
Simetsberg, Hohe Kisten, Oberer Risskopf, Kareck, Henneneck, Krottenkopf, Bischof, Hoher Fricken, Eckenberg, Wank, Roßwank, Zwölferköpfl.

No noteworthy summit is missing, in the meantime all of them have been hiked. Only exception: Platteneck and Klaffen. These Hikingtrips will be performed shortly - resulting shots will be included in this gallery as a first update.
